Location: Foley, MN
Hours: Both Shifts (6:00am-6:00pm, 6:00pm-6:00am, rotating weekends)Description: Coordinate, set-up, monitor and operate all mixing and processing functions to maximize the quality of products produced and the efficiency of the department. Receive liquid tankers. CIP, clean and sanitize a variety of mixing, blending, receiving and processing equipment. Perform routine maintenance on all process area equipment. Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required. Test and approve batch samples as required. Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties involving area equipment.
Requirements: Experience with high speed packaging and filling equipment required. Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. Basic math skills required. Food industry experience and knowledge of GMP’s preferred. Must be able to pass a forklift drivers test. Must be able to frequently (3-5 hrs/day) lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs. Detail Oriented. Must be able to tolerate standing for long periods (12 hrs) of time. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Foley, MN
Hours: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, rotating weekend scheduleDescription:Verifies Sanitation procedures are effective. Coordinates and monitors the pathogen monitoring of the plant. Communicates results and verifies corrective action plans. Coordinate and perform physical, chemical and biological testing and inspection of equipment, product, packaging and materials, leading to efficient reporting. Actively monitor, teach and enforce plant sanitation policies, GMP’s, HACCP and methods for allergen control. Troubleshoot and resolve basic quality/ production issues involving products and materials. Monitors and maintains incident reports. Communicates corrective action results.
Prepares, maintains, monitors and tracks plant documentation. Provides involvement and assistance with related R&D, plant tours, customer service and sales/marketing for the company.
Requirements: Minimum two years of college coursework in a scientific/ engineering discipline or equivalent laboratory work experience. Basic math, biology, and chemistry knowledge is required while demonstrating strong troubleshooting and problem – solving skills. Experience with quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment highly desirable. Food industry background preferred. Must be able to lift 35 pounds occasionally.
